If you build a cellar/bunker underground and want to ventilate it a bit so you can stay there - how do you handle the ventilation?
My first thought was to place a low-set intake on one side and then a high-set outlet on the other side. The more I search for information, the more I ponder.
It turns out that some who have built underground wine cellars have the air intake high, to then push cold air into the cellar from above, and then the warm air is pressed out at the bottom of the wine cellar. Essentially, the opposite of my thinking - and the laws of nature - since warm air rises and cold air sinks.
My idea with a low intake is to have a pipe buried several meters underground so that the air coming into the space has a stretch to cool down before entering the room.
Will I have issues with condensation then? Probably. However, this can be remedied with a T- or Y-pipe before the pipe enters the room.
