Hi!
Like many others, I've unintentionally bought a prefab house... 1.5 stories with a basement and a detached garage.
Has anyone here made similar changes? The previous owner replaced all the windows and doors in the whole house about 20 years ago, and it seems to be well done.
We are considering:
• closing an existing window
• installing a new horizontal window
• converting a full window to a patio door
• closing the current patio door
All on the same wall. Long side by the kitchen.
Has anyone done something similar? How did you do it practically, and was there anything specific to consider? I'd gladly welcome pictures if anyone wants to share!
