Hello!

A small case of "what would you do?"
As you can see in the picture, we have windows to the floor, but there is a gap against the concrete slab of about 17mm. This is open directly to the metal on the outside, I was thinking of just putting in insulation+plastic sealed caulk but from the outside it's completely open under the sheet metal. No such "teeth" for mice, etc.

What would you do?

  • Window with a 17mm gap above concrete slab, leading directly outside to metal sheeting; outdoor view of sandy and rocky ground visible through glass.
  • A ruler measuring a 17mm gap between a window frame and concrete floor, highlighting an open space leading to the exterior under a metal plate.
  • Window with a gap to the concrete slab, surrounded by rocks; lacking outer metal barrier for rodents.

I would have sprayed in foam sealant. Quick, easy, tight, and cheap. Done in 5 minutes :)
