Hello,

We had these window sills at home, the house is from 1969.
Read today that window sills can be made of eternit.

They are heavy and when we cut into it, it wasn't stone, because it was very easy to cut into them.

Now it's in place under a window.

  • A windowsill in a room with a dark, wooden surface, beneath a window handle, installed under a window in a house from 1969.
  • Close-up of a dark window sill possibly made of asbestos, installed under a window in a 1969 house.
  • Close-up view of a window ledge installed under a window, showing its textured surface and placement.
What is your question? It looks in the last picture like the windowsill might be covered in possibly eternit. Definitely not something good to inhale.

Our windowsills are made of eternit. They are good and last forever. Nothing to worry about when they are in place.
