In episode 6 of Sommar med Ernst, Ernst builds privacy screens (http://www.tv4.se/sommar-med-ernst/artiklar/bygg-ernsts-fönsterluckor-57b330bdb9a9f6d5fc000709) with something he calls "fönsterbågslister" - something I interpreted as window frame by the meter. However, I can't find this product anywhere and the word "fönsterbågslister" appears almost exclusively on TV4.se when I google it (...and now on ByggaHus.se...). Does anyone know if this product exists and what it might be called outside of TV4?

A cherished child with many names.

Googled "skumlist fönster" can be found here for example.

Well, it wasn't weatherstripping that Ernst built window frames from... ;-)
It's more the wood profile that a window frame consists of that I was asking about...

Oh, :o

Then you must mean window beads?
These are available in plastic, wood, metal alu/steel. And encase the window.
Google gives lots of answers, e.g. this one.

These products are not very commonly found.
Most people buy new windows.

Well, maybe... when I google "glaslist," I mostly find strips of thinner timber used to hold the glass in an existing window frame—not something used to build the frame itself. Please take a look at the clip I attached in the first post, and you will probably understand what I mean. It is actually quite easy to rout any profile yourself from planed timber about 30x50 mm using a handheld router, but if it is available on the market at an affordable price, it is undeniably more convenient...

I have been following this thread because I would also like to buy similar moldings. I have never seen it in any store, but I think it should not be insanely expensive to buy from a carpenter.

Otherwise, as mentioned, you can mill them yourself from a piece of wood.
