Currently setting up a windbreak on the garage frame. I will have horizontal siding, so the battens will be vertical, meaning no battens along the sill plate to clamp the fabric. Now it is only fastened with staples. Considering doing a round with tape around the entire garage to seal against the concrete. Thinking about doing the same against the top plate. Have taped the seam on the windbreak. See pictures below.

Now to the question: what is usually done? Is what I propose good or excessive? What would you have done?

Concrete foundation with white wind barrier fabric partially affixed, surrounded by gravel. A hand holds the fabric. Sunny day backdrop.
A garage structure with wind protection wrap (T-Wind Standard) partially taped and stapled, showing a corner with visible timber framing.

Hi
I have the same question
How did you solve it?
