I am building a table with an extension leaf that can be added when needed. Attached is a picture showing what it looks like. It is essentially a table on a bar leg with the left side attached to the wall.

The table is made of a countertop measuring 1100x750x28 + 500x750x28 as an extension part. The hardware I am considering is made of iron and measures 18x64mm.

Can this construction hold? Or do you have other practical suggestions for how I can build it?
