Hello
Small basement under half the living room. There is a gas boiler today.
What subfloor is recommended and what insulation for it? Will have hydronic floor heating if that matters.

I've considered oil-hardened board 6mm or fiber cement.
But what is really best?
I was thinking of laying mineral wool boards but I'm open to suggestions there too.

Hit me...

The kitchen will be partially raised timber and cast slab. The rest of the house slab.

Fiber cement and stone wool sound stable, go for it.

Thank you. Then we will go with that.

Should you put plastic on the chipboard and/or the slab afterwards? The slab will be insulated with about 30cm.

I know some floor manufacturers prefer it before laying the floor, but it feels like a risk to trap moisture?

No plastic needed.

Just as I thought. Awesome, thanks for the quick reply.
