Which double-sided tape is most suitable for attaching a floor rail to wardrobe sliding doors on tiled flooring in the hallway?

The mat tape is thinner than the Tesa tape and should prevent gaps between the rail and the floor that gravel can get into.
However, the Tesa tape is moisture-resistant and seems to have good adhesive strength.

I want to use the mat tape, anyone disagree?

Have no experience. But is the floor really so flat that you get proper adhesion with tape, especially with extra thin tape?

We have a rail on a granite floor in the hallway. I don't remember now how we attached it, but I think it was with a few blobs of silicone, or possibly PL400.

No idea how level it is, haven't checked yet. Good point, thanks. Glue is also a (messier) option.
