I am planning to attach a deck to a concrete slab for a "attefallare". The edge beams are of the "lightweight" type, meaning there is just a thinner fiber concrete against the side and then insulation.... what should I use to attach the deck to this? 😊

Why are you even attaching it to the house?

Thought it would be more stable than placing it on slabs, I have quite low building height so there's no room for a beam underneath..

I would have cast plinths instead...

Lay paving stones instead; it requires less maintenance and usually suits houses with slab-on-grade foundations.

Both my decks are directly on paving stones.
They don't have a main beam, just a framework with 170mm joists. They've remained stable for over 10+ years. A deck weighs quite a lot and doesn't move easily.
