Which screw for Fermacell boards
About to put up a couple of sheets of Fermacell fiber gypsum.
What screws are suitable for this? Should it be treated as hard gypsum and use screws intended for that purpose?
Fermacell, of course, mentions that their screws should be used, but since the distributor of the sheets does not sell such screws, I have to consider others. So which other ones can be used?

Very good question - I had the same one a few months ago... The board is rock hard and doesn't have any paper, and it doesn't compress like a drywall when fastened with the drywall screw's "mushroom head." I asked Nino here on the forum which screw he used and got the answer regular particleboard screw (drywall screws break off). I've tested both particleboard screws and Byggmax "OSB screws" and think the latter is a bit better. What I miss is the Fermacell screw's drill tip. Particleboard/OSB screws have to struggle through.

I have used fermacell fiber gypsum in the bathroom, they had special screws that I used, black screws with a relatively small conical head, did not resemble drywall screws at all

They probably resemble these a bit https://www.ahlsell.se/10/forbrukningsvaror/infastning/skruv/skivskruv/hardgipsskruv-a-collection/

Hmmm, yes, it feels like you need a screw with a small head that can basically countersink itself in the screw hole.
Then 30 mm screws are not enough when you have a wet room wall 2012 (or whatever it's called), it should be fully screwed as well.

No, Fermacell's original screw is also available in a longer version. I used this one: https://www.byggmax.se/spik-och-skruv/ovriga-skruvar/traskiveskruv-p24346
Yep, it's true that it exists longer, but then I have to find these somewhere too....
But considering that there are boards to buy, but no screws, most people probably have another screw that works just as well =)
What you linked to looks like a form of chipboard screw, so it might be leaning in that direction.
