Hello, as usual, some construction tasks get postponed. Since I built the deck the summer after the cabin, I never got around to installing gutters.

Now I'm a bit unsure about which gutter brackets to use.

What do you think? Should I install a fascia board and mount adjustable brackets, or can I use short gutter brackets? Note that I don't plan to have a downspout.

How would you have done it?

Apologies for the poor picture.

I don't have time to do it in wood as I initially planned..

But excuse me, but I don't really understand how it looks. :o

Does the water run on that thing that looks like a platonmatta, i.e., under the bracket that's attached with angle iron?

Or does the water run on some surface above?

The water flows out on top of the Platon mat. The rule you see is just a stop to prevent the grass from falling off the roof :)

Well, that might be a bit tricky ..?

A hook for the eaves board doesn't work anyway:

Then the gutter ends up above where the water runs out.

Maybe regular hooks that you usually attach on top of the sheathing, but screw them in from below instead.
Kind of like this picture, but with the hook under the sheathing and screwed in from below:
