The slab for the garage turned out quite well, with a few blemishes. Some dimples after failed experiments with the trowel, some footprints, and a few dog paws. The slope to the floor drain also needs to be fixed. My thought is to use filler for this. The question is: which filler is best for this?
 
There are plenty of different fillers you can use. But it sounds like you are going to hand-fill and not self-levelling, and then you should just use a quick fine hand-filler for floors, such as Finja 410, 430, or 440, depending on how thick you need to apply. And there are lots of other brands too.
 
Well, that was almost the problem. That there were so incredibly many options to choose from. Finja, Ardex, Maxit, Casco... And hundreds of different types.
 
It doesn't matter that much. What you should look for is how high it can be built, and that it's possible to taper the spackling compound to zero in thickness.
