Where to buy screws?

Does anyone have tips on a good (online) store that has a proper screw assortment?
I usually buy screws at Bauhaus, but it feels a bit silly to go on a two-hour trip (round trip) to buy a box of screws. Moreover, their assortment doesn't feel as good as it could be, I often miss both short screws and long thin screws.

If you live in Stockholm, there is Sifvert Skruv. http://www.sifvert-skruv.se/sv/
Very good to deal with. They don't have an online store, but they do have a physical store at Lindhagensplan.

Good price on Essbox which is a convenient case to store and carry screws. Good screws that hardly need pre-drilling and maintain high quality. Right now also with free shipping.

I have not had a good experience with Sifvert at all. Expensive, unfriendly, and they only sell whole packages for more unusual screws. I buy the screws I need for mechanical projects from a German webshop that has "everything" and reasonable minimum quantities.HandySmurf said:

Swedol and Hornbach have bulk screws so you can buy one of each type if you want.
The grim truth is that screws (I am now referring to machine screws) in slightly more unusual dimensions cannot be purchased in Sweden!!!!! Definitely not in stores, and hardly online either. Go to the German eBay, where there are still well-stocked sellers. I myself have bought something as unusual and strange as fine-threaded M12 nuts via this company:

In addition to a large range, the price was good and delivery was quick. Communication in English worked well.

www.skruvexperten.se has never let us down. Really good Swedish screws at reasonable prices. They have all kinds of screws, colors, sizes, etc. Recommended.
