I'm going to build some new cabinet frames and was thinking of using particle board. But it seems like the hardware stores no longer sell that, except for flooring particle board which is too narrow (tongue and groove 600 mm). Where can you find particle board? It seems like overkill to use plywood or MDF, but maybe that's what everyone uses, except for virtually all cheap furniture manufacturers, IKEA, Marbodal, Rusta, Jysk, and other budget furniture.

Bauhaus, Hornbach, Byggmax, Beijer, just choose the one that is closest. Keep in mind that chipboard is very susceptible to moisture, so plywood is probably preferred there. MDF is perhaps the easiest to work with...
