Right now it's around 8 degrees Celsius outside and a bit misty. Two days ago, it was between 10-15 degrees Celsius and I started building a shed with leca blocks and mortar B. It might have been around 4-5 degrees at night, but it doesn't seem like there has been any frost. During the day, it has consistently been over 5 degrees. After two days, the mortar has hardened, but not so much that I can't break some of it away from the joints with my fingers, and the mortar seems to crumble into sand. Yesterday, one day after I built, I also managed to take a bit hard on one of the top blocks, which then came loose without much problem.
Is this normal? How long does it take for the mortar to harden so that the leca blocks can't come loose? Or is it already too cold to continue building now, do you think? (I've heard you shouldn't build when it's below 5 degrees Celsius.)
