I'm planning to build a staircase like the one in the picture below. The stringers will be about 3.2 meters long and I plan to use laminated wood but can't find anything that long. I'm thinking of using 4 cm thick laminated pine and have looked at boards to cut from but can't find anything longer than 3020 mm. I've only found proper stair materials in oak online and they are too expensive for me. Does anyone have tips on where I can find something that fits, or if anyone has other suggestions on what I can use? I would prefer to avoid splicing as I don't think it will turn out well. The width of the staircase will be approximately 63 cm. I live in Stockholm.

42mm glulam is standard, and is stocked in lengths up to 12050mm (according to the manufacturer Martinssons' website). A 6-meter length is common in the market. Any well-stocked lumber seller should be able to help you with that.

Thanks, there were 4-meter lengths in stock at Bejer. Awesome!
