What type of timber and where can I find it?
Hello,
I need to extend the ceiling shown in the attached image. However, I'm wondering how to find wood that looks like that. It's tongue and groove but with gaps, and then the dimension feels strange. I believe the surface is about 6-7 cm wide (haven't measured yet) and the "gap" is about 1 cm.
Help!

That looks like regular facade panel, 95mm wide. It looks the same in the ceiling here.
If you can't find the right dimension, a well-equipped sawmill/building merchant can plane it to the right profile for you.

Hmm, note that I don't want to extend the untreated part, only the white! :-/
but maybe that's what you meant?
The untreated part is about 9-10 cm from joint to joint and is on both the ceiling and interior walls of the house (now behind plasterboards though)
In total, I think there are about 50 "ribs" in the ceiling and I need about 2.5 meters long, which gives about 100 running meters. I don't feel like paying 100 bucks per meter for a small ceiling. The quick fix would be to put up 5 plasterboards for a total of 300 bucks, but it feels like giving up.

now I have measured the wood.
Each plank is a total of 23-24mm thick. The width is a total of 70mm including the tongue (female + male), excluding it is 56mm. The gap between each plank is 7-9 mm.
Does anyone know if this wood exists?
EDIT: Maybe I should cheat by putting up molding on the ceiling. There is 13x56 mm that should fit. If you place it with some distance between the slats, it looks like it's tongued and grooved?

thanks in advance,

thanks in advance,
You will get
a general gap there.
Why not put in a board and then
continue with the new panel on the other side.
You get a marked transition and when
you choose the panel for the other side, you take the one that matches
best with the old one.
Best regards, Putte

You can take a look here..

and see if you find one you think fits..
It seems a bit much with 23-24mm for interior paneling - but maybe it's something the person who installed it had on hand..?
In any case, you can adjust it by placing a board of suitable thickness behind the "new" panel if it's thinner..
