The other day, I checked what kind of slab we have on our house and according to the paperwork, it just says "fully insulated slab on grade." Before I looked it up, I thought it was insulated.
The house is from '78 so I thought it might be the one with the risk construction where the insulation is on top of the concrete, but when we renovated the laundry room and they broke up the floor, it's plastic flooring, about 10 cm of concrete, and then gravel? What type of construction is this? Is there more concrete or insulation under the gravel?
