In my bathroom, we have tiles hanging in a grid. I mostly associate them with office ceilings... see the attached image!
I've gotten used to them and didn’t plan to replace the ceiling, but I would like to buy new tiles. I'm thinking of installing spotlights in the ceiling and want the same shade on all tiles.
What are these ceilings called? And where can I buy new tiles? They are at most 60x60cm.
They need to withstand heat since I'm going to put spotlights in them. Are there special tiles when they are in a bathroom? Someone at work said I should have mold in them if there's insulation... It's not something I've noticed, but the ones I have now seem to be some form of insulation. So the new ones should preferably retain heat just as well as today, but also withstand moisture and especially heat.

However, it seems difficult to find good info online. I will check with http://www.ecophon.com to see what they have to offer. However, I've never heard of them before, so they're probably expensive, so if anyone knows a "regular" store that sells these tiles, like Byggmax, Bauhaus, Fredells, etc., feel free to let me know!

It's a suspended ceiling, which you say is often common in offices. Look for someone in your area who installs ceilings and call them. Very few tiles are needed for your bathroom, as usually a couple of hundred m² are used with this. They're probably 60x60, right?? Then check with them what they want for a couple of tiles, feels like a coffee bread/smörgåstårta arrangement

The tiles are made of stone wool with a painted layer of fiberglass felt. They should withstand heat and humidity, 95% at 25 degrees and 100% temporarily at 40 degrees according to a retailer. About 1000 SEK for 10 tiles was their charge.
