I have a house from 1976 where the joints have started to loosen. I want to insert new ones. But I'm not sure what to use. Silicone or what? It's about filling between the facade and the wood. Including windows.
The facade brick is Mexi in white. The windows are covered in dark brown. Today's (the old) joint is still a bit elastic and in light brown color.

What do you recommend? And in what color?

I used Sikaflex HP-1 between mexi and wood. Switched to white trims so there was no discussion about the color. The old sealant was transparent.

Tried Bostik's multi-sealant instead of Sikaflex the other day and it was much easier to work with. Easier to press out of the gun and easier to smooth out. In other words, got a neater and more even result.
