What to do with ceiling box?

Just pulled down the old ceiling that is to be replaced with sparse and simple gypsum. The question is how I solve the ceiling box as it is positioned too high up.

Isn't it more than that, förhöjningsring and longer screw.

You can detach it and move it down to the correct level, but it's probably easiest to buy an extension ring that fits the box you have.

If you place a gles across the glesen with perhaps a couple of masonite pieces between (to adjust the height) and screw the box into it, you can get it positioned so that the box is a few mm inside the plasterboard, which is approved. Much cheaper than extension rings.
