Hello

I will be pouring some basement floor next week and a concrete truck will need to empty the leftovers when the pouring is completed.

According to information, it is about 3-500 liters. Any good tips on what one can do with them?

You don't need a small slab in the garden or anything?
Foundation for gateposts?
Piers for something else you're going to build?
Any neighbor that needs something?

3-500 liters of concrete is a pretty big lump! Ask them to make several blobs and insert rebar so you can lift them if you don't find a way to use the concrete.

I've already set the thinking process in motion.

I have a gate post I was planning to cast later this summer - time to build a mold :)

Might as well buy a couple of large casting buckets from Silvan and make mooring stones to put on Blocket...

Also considering building a small "ramp" up to the curb of my driveway. But then the street and real estate office might go crazy.

More tips are welcome.

A small slab to park bicycles or similar on?
How is the trash bin positioned today?
Do you have any slope or edge you want to fix?

What a strange way to handle that the concrete truck can't bring the right amount. For me, I said stop when I thought I had received the correct amount and then he stopped the truck and said thanks. It wasn't my fault that he didn't just bring the 900 liters I ordered but more.

It wasn't that you miscalculated and only got about 700 and paid for 900 liters ;).

Kind regards, Putte

Wonder if it's not the case that they
have a minimum limit for how little you
can order with a car.
So you still have to pay for the excess.

It didn't bother me much if I had to pay for 1000 liters and only got 850, as long as I didn't have to deal with the hassle of removing the surplus. The important thing was to get enough to meet the need. The extra liters I had to pay for were a small part of the total cost since the transport was the expensive part.
