Hi! I'm working on building the deck and need to attach the ledger board to the house. It turned out the foundation is built of lecablock, and the expansion bolts I tested didn't work well at all. Is there something else good for securing the ledger board in place? Maybe a good wall plug? The board is 45mm, so I would probably need screws and plugs just over 100mm long.

A wooden beam is attached to a building foundation made of concrete blocks. There is soil around the post, part of a deck construction project.

Okay, thanks for the tip! I'll buy some and see if they last :)

There are probably also nice leca screws today. Not something I've used myself but worth checking out maybe.

Lecaskruv is as solid as a rock!

Biltema's chemical anchor will probably work as well if the screws don't work, but lecaskruv certainly works

Last spring, I installed an 8m support beam in the foundation, which was made of leca. Initially, I tried using facade plugs, but wasn't completely satisfied. 140mm lecaskruv worked better; every screw tightened incredibly well!

Fischer façade plug 135 mm works

I tested them in my lecablocks, didn't draw anything :/

The ones I asked about or the ones andy78 recommended?

Lexaskruv is definitely the best for the application, as long as you don't overtighten. Fasadplugg work if you choose a quality model and drill the right size. The ones in the images from byggmax above resemble spikplugg in appearance.

I have used ESSVE lättbetongskruv with good results. No pre-drilling is required, possibly at the ends of the board. It's important to stop tightening when the screw has bottomed out. Continuing to do so will damage the fastening.
