Hello.

We have made a hole in the concrete slab for a drain where water will flow into the drainage well. I'm wondering what material we should use to create a slope towards the well. It will be almost in the middle of the slab. The area is about 2 square meters. We will raise it to the same level as the cast iron well, which is about 4-5 mm high.

Should I use some self-leveling compound or regular fine concrete that can withstand cold?
Do I need to prime the concrete for the new material to adhere?
Do I need rebar so there won't be cracks during winter?

Yes, that was a lot of questions.
