Hello!

What type of stone is this? Leca?

Can it be cut with a handsaw? I prefer not to use an angle grinder since it creates a terrible amount of dust.

Thanks

  • A section of exposed wall showing stacked building blocks, possibly Leca, partially covered with plaster.

It doesn't look like Leca. Could it be blåbetong in that? When was it built?

Thanks for all the responses. The house was built in 45..

Any tips for minimizing the dust when cutting in? Is an angle grinder the way to go?

Doesn't it work with a handsaw? It might indeed become dull.

Yes, that was my thought too. I've seen that there are handsaws for concrete, maybe it's worth testing...
