Hey,

I have a ceiling tile down in the basement that looks like in the pictures. Does anyone know what it could be?

It's grayish and porous and crumbles when you scrape it.

The tiles are 30x30 and about 1.5cm thick.

Thanks for the help:)

  • Gray, porous ceiling tile with a textured surface, measuring approximately 30x30 cm and 1.5 cm thick, possibly in a basement setting.
  • A hand holding a small, crumbly grey-brown piece of a porous tile with visible texture.

Is a ceiling tile with good sound insulation and probably this one

I think these are quite old tiles; they are glued to the ceiling.

It is possible to glue the ones linked to, just different mounting methods. With load-bearing rulers, the ceiling drops between 5 - 7 cm.
