Hi, I've just completed a two-story extension on the house and am now starting indoors.
What should I use for the furring strips/framework in the ceiling on the 1st floor?
I want to install spotlights in the ceiling and above will be a bathroom, so I'm wondering if I can press the pots up into the floor joist above and use regular furring strips 28x70, or should I lower it more with another dimension to not encroach on the joist above?
The floor joist above is 300cc 220mm joists.
Do you think I should go for LED, 12V or 230V halogen? The two rooms this concerns are an entrance hall and a laundry room.
