As you can see in the picture, there is a gap between the concrete and the sill board allowing daylight to seep in. The sill paper in between is simply not thick enough to even out the unevenness. It feels like it should be sealed with something, but what is appropriate?

Gap between concrete and sill plate showing daylight, with inadequate sill sealer failing to fill the uneven space.

Syllpapp is not so suitable if you don't want thermal bridges. You should have sill insulation or sill sealing.

Understood. But now it's there. It’s also about an uninsulated storage space, so thermal bridges aren't a big concern, I think.

Any thoughts on what might be suitable to fill it in with? It's unnecessary to have a gap anyway.

If it's an uninsulated shed, I wouldn't care at all. See it as ventilation.
