And what is it good for? I’ve seen it at Byggmax, but I find little information about things like durability, hardness compared to cement-based products or hydraulic lime, and above all any examples from someone who has used it. How should it be seen, is it a mortar, an adhesive, a casting material? all three? It seems to mainly consist of quartz sand, dolomite, and magnesium oxide

Something similar to husfix?

yes maybe as a house fix for outdoor use? but there doesn't seem to be any cement in it at all.
I have some concrete work in the garden with questionable quality/finish so I'm wondering if snabbsten would have been a good complement where the stuff has started to crack and fall off...

I've tested the product Snabbsten, and this is how it worked for me.
At first, I thought what a great product. I thought of repairing cracks in the concrete floor on the veranda.
If you mix according to the instructions, it works if, for example, you have a crack where there is no penetrating moisture. If there is penetrating moisture, the so-called Snabbsten will dissolve as quickly as it hardened.

Hi, I have a broken step outside the outhouse door. Does anyone have experience with rapid-set concrete as a repair for frost-damaged and weathered concrete steps?

  • Old, worn concrete step with moss and damage near an outdoor toilet door, next to a red wooden wall and a tree.
Do not use quick-setting cement, I have tried it and it was completely useless. The quick-setting cement cannot handle penetrating moisture and will come loose. Use regular concrete reinforced with galvanized chicken wire or something similar. Use formwork/plywood if you need to recast an entire step.

Repair concrete might be something?
