What does it mean to "proppa"?

Simple question...

I've heard many times the phrase: plug things into a concrete floor or a concrete wall. I'm now wondering a bit about the expression. Is it the same as drilling a hole and plugging and screwing, or are there any special plugs/screws/bolts/tools needed???

Study! People often used wooden dowels a long time ago. The dowels looked like the plugs one uses for other things.

I/we probably only say proppa when it comes to spikplugg. Otherwise, it becomes "plugga and take a fralla" or something similar.

Ahh, that was interesting. But there seem to be a few different interpretations of exactly what it is, some form of pluggning at least..
