I have some holes in the basement wall that I want to fill in. Tips on how to proceed are greatly appreciated. How do I do it and with what do I fill it?

Thank you!

  • Holes in the basement wall near ceiling with exposed pipes, showing structural damage. Seeking advice on filling and repairing the holes.
  • Cracks and holes in a basement wall near a window, showing exposed concrete with uneven edges.

Plaster mix is the easiest. Plaster that you mix in water.

The deep holes in the top picture I would fill with something like foam or insulation first, then use gypsum plaster if 20-30mm thick.
In the bottom picture, you can fill with gypsum plaster as it is..

The big holes can be filled with some broken pieces from a lecablock together with some repair mortar from finja, and then plastered over with the same repair mortar. For the small damage, you can directly apply the mortar.

I think it can work just as well with type mortar b or plaster mortar since you don't need any special strength.
