Hello experts!
I am in the process of converting a storage room into a home gym. A machine will stand on the floor but will be attached to the wall. This means a high load on the wall fastening when pulling the weights. Therefore, I wonder if you, with significantly more material knowledge than the undersigned, can identify the boards in the pictures. Is it chipboard? Tretex? How would you attach?

I think it looks like chipboard. Can't you reinforce the mounts? For example, by putting an external horizontal beam that is anchored to at least two standing wall studs.S Spindoctor said:Hello experts!
