We are in the process of changing the floor in the basement and discover that the back of our pine floor (laminate) is untreated pine. However, it has beveled edges that form a V between the planks when you put them together. Now I'm wondering if you can "fill" the floor with something to make the surface even? Preferably something white...

Does anyone know how and what?
