Water and mold resistant board

What kind of board should be used in an environment that is constantly humid and 1 m from the sea?

Minerit?

Meranti?

Is there a good board made of pure plastic??

We have in a space at work a shower for cooling down, and there the walls are covered with Aquapanel from Knauf. Then the seams are sealed with waterproof silicone, and it works well. It's like concrete boards, sort of.

I've used it in the bathroom and think it would suit you as well.
