Hello, is there any kind soul who knows what to buy to wash away white mold that I have on the sill beams and the stones in the foundation? It's a torpargrund from 1907. I have replaced the floor but don't know what to clean with, as there is quite a lot in some places. Thanks in advance for all the answers.

Opelhenke......

I don't know about white mold, but Klorin works brilliantly on black spots.

We have encountered green mold...
sander with vacuum. Then BORACOL! A borate solution that kills and prevents regrowth if I understood correctly??

On stone, one usually burns with a type of gas torch to kill the spores, if I recall correctly.

White mold doesn't sound fun.
Have you checked what it actually is?

Hello Opelhenke,

There is only one product today that permanently removes mold. Unfortunately, it's not something you apply yourself because it needs to be heated to 70-140 degrees Celsius during application.
Many believe it's to kill the mold, but that's not the case.
The high temperature is required for the capillary forces to draw the substance into the material and thereby become permanent.

The product is called VitalProtect and is marketed by Novoma in Hägersten. Check www.novoma.com
