Good evening,
Now I want to hear your opinions, advantages, disadvantages, and good-to-know tips. I can't make sense of this.
I currently have a brick house and am planning an extension. To make it as uniform as possible, I'm thinking of plastering the entire house, including the extension, when everything is complete. Inside, I would like to have drywall to get smooth, nice walls that I can wallpaper. The information up to this point is not something I want input on as these are the conditions. What I want to get clarity on comes below.
Option 1.
Build the extension with Finja Exakt insulation blocks 295. Plaster the exterior and glue drywall on the inside. Total wall thickness just over 320mm.
Option 2.
Build with Lättklinker 190mm, wind barrier/plastic, frame with 120 studs. Insulate, plastic, plywood, drywall. Plaster the exterior. Total wall thickness about 350mm.
Option 3.
Frame with 145, wind barrier, battens, aquapanels then plaster. Inside will be the same as option 2.
Total wall thickness about 230mm.
Option 2 is definitely more work but at the same time very practical with wiring in the walls and still getting a nice facade without an air gap between the plaster and the base (which the rest of the house also won't have).
Are there perhaps more options?
I want to hear everything you have to say. Preferably your own experiences.
Thanks
