Want to build ecologically, attempt nr 2
Entered some well-chosen keywords in Google and found among others this:
http://www.isolina.com/se/isolering.cfm -> linisolering
http://www.novator.se/kretslopp/0204/s10.pdf -> another linisolering

Some starter links for ecological building (not just insulation):
Ekofiber insulation: http://www.ekofiber.se/
Flax and wood fiber insulation: http://www.swefab.se/
Byggahus article: http://www.byggahus.se/bygga/bygga_ekologiskt.htm
Web forum alternativ.nu (a bit "out there", but interesting) http://www.alternativ.nu/yabb/index.php?board=26
Feel free to visit your nearest library and check out shelf Ppb (preferably books by Varis Bokalders) or ask the librarians.
Good luck!

Thanks for the tips! It seems like there isn't cellulose on a "roll", but loose fill is the option. The tip about linull seems interesting, though; I will find out more about it. We have heard about flax insulation before but dismissed it as "extreme", but maybe it's something after all. It's probably quite expensive, but that's something we'll have to accept. We've decided we want to build without a plastic barrier, and then the usual insulation materials won't work.
