I have 45x45 as sparse in the ceiling. 45x45 also as horizontal wall studs for the installation layer. In the ceiling, single plasterboard, on the walls, OSB horizontal and plasterboard vertical. Vaulted ceiling. Now a question about the highest wall stud against the ceiling sparse. I lowered this one 5 mm to get a better fit against the boards and to avoid screwing right at the plaster edge. But does it move more? Is it better to press the wall stud up against the ceiling sparse?

  • Wooden framing with a ruler showing 45x45 mm studs and a measuring tape on OSB and gypsum board. Setup for a construction project with spacing details.
I pushed it up instead. Would have left it if I were double plasterboarding in the ceiling.
