Does anyone know if there are more types of panel boards than those sold by Brandén (Pärlspont) and Byggmax (V-spont)? Are there other suppliers, other types of plank "look alike"? Intended for ceiling installation.

There are a few pieces:
Maler - Finnish company, unknown if they have a Swedish retailer.
SmartPanel - Norwegian, also unknown if they have a Swedish retailer.
LogoClic and Huntonit - sold in Sweden by Bauhaus.

Byggmax has "regina", I assume this is what you mean by "V-spont" but these are not in "look-a-like" and need to be painted.

When I was installing ceiling panels, I drove around and got sample pieces and checked exhibitions before I chose, what looks right in the store can be totally wrong at home....

Was perhaps a bit unclear...
Untreated panels were the idea, to then paint "together" with the ceiling moldings.
