We have built an exterior wall on an uninsulated concrete slab. There is a sill seal (insulation strip) on the concrete slab under the wooden stud. On the sill seal and between the stud, we have placed age-resistant plastic that goes up about one decimeter on the outside of the wall, i.e., under the wood panel. Is this okay? I'm thinking about moisture. Maybe we should have cut it along the stud.

Otherwise, it looks like the following from the outside: wood panel, building paper, 15 cm insulation, age-resistant plastic, and gypsum boards.

I find it hard to imagine that plastic 1dm up on the wall would prevent outward drying to the extent that it could cause damage. The plastic there might even provide a bit of protection if there happens to be a gap at the bottom behind the outer panel where water might otherwise splash in during heavy downpours.
I wouldn't lose sleep over that solution.
But NOTE, I'd be happy to hear a second opinion on this, if others have opinions.
