Building a conservatory that will be insulated but without permanent heating, though it should be possible to heat it as needed. The insulation in the roof consists of 195 mm mineral wool and the walls 95 mm mineral wool. I have considered skipping the plastic as it won't be constantly heated and concluded that a vapor brake might be a compromise, but when I read about Mataki Haloproof vapourcontrol SD3, it should not be used on a roof against a cold attic, where a vapor barrier is recommended instead. Is there any reason why this vapor brake wouldn't work for my needs?

I think it sounds absolutely right to have a vapor barrier in the conservatory as you planned.
