Hi!
Is it possible to mount these standing? In Moelven's installation instructions, it says they should be mounted lying down. The boards are 600 wide.

The reason for the question is that I save time by not having to cut and will also be mounting the gypsum boards lying down (to avoid visible joints behind the kitchen).

I absolutely think it does, the point of mounting them horizontally is that the tongue and groove then make the wall "stronger" overall. (hence a recommendation in the installation instructions) Vertical boards and joints get "less support" vertically if there isn't a stud exactly where the joint ends up.
