Where can I find timber with a U-shaped tongue so that I can build a round house (it will be a sauna)? Preferably north of Umeå.

Or can I use regular tongue and groove floorboards or "timber" used to build garden sheds/small cabins? The angle between each board will be about 4 degrees (if I use a width of 95mm).

I have seen that many hot tubs are built with U-shaped tongues, but the sauna doesn't need to be as watertight as a hot tub.

I have an acquaintance who does this in Jämtland, he manufactures and sells both bathtubs and saunas. He planes the round profile himself.

I can provide a contact via PM if interested.

Maybe it's not relevant to plane by yourself, but otherwise there are blades for just under a thousand for both profiles. Talk to local carpenters/planing mills and see if they can fix something, I don't think there should be any problems considering the amount you need.

You should go with regular råspont, which is the cheapest tongue and groove you can get. Buy a board. Cut it into a number of pieces. Assemble them (tongue and groove) and test how much you can bend before it stops.
