Been reading up on some building techniques for deck construction, including the ledger board against the facade.

Considering spacers for frame screws but plan to cut off the smaller diameter to make them even on both sides. Screw these into the panel so the pressure is evenly distributed when fastening the ledger. This would leave a gap of about 15mm against the facade.

Or do you have a simpler, better solution than not fastening to the facade? I have fiber and electrical cables running there and don't want to tamper with them.

The outer ledger will be placed on leca blocks with sill tape underneath; the span is only 2.7m, so 45x170 should suffice with cc60, though I think I'll go with cc50.

The question is whether the ledger needs continuous support underneath or if there can be a distance of about 60cm between the blocks?

I should add that the blocks will be placed on their long side.

Thanks for the tip👍

Bought black 10mm spacers, turned out well.

Working on the outer support beam, do you have any objections before I continue?

Will place blocks at the bottom between the supports to avoid a V shape. Fastening with screws, 3 per support.
