Hi!
I'm planning to build a small storage shed. It will have 2 walls partially against a slope that I've excavated, and I'm a bit unsure about the best way to build the foundation. Should I build a wall against the slope that also serves as the lower part of the walls and then make a crawl space foundation? Or should I pour a concrete slab and build on top of that? Ideally, I want the shed as close to ground level as possible.
If I'm going to pour a slab, how serious do I need to be when it's for a storage shed? 20 cm of gravel and then pour? Or should I use foam insulation boards and other stuff?
I probably need tips for the entire build, actually
Here's a link to a picture of how it looks. The shed is planned for the corner by the dirt pile/tarp:

I was going to cast a slab. It will only be a maximum of one cubic meter of concrete. In the forum, there is plenty of help with casting slabs. It's not that difficult to do it yourself. And everything you do yourself can save you a lot of money.
