Hello. I've expanded, now tackling the last untouched part. We have white everywhere and are thinking of doing something a little extra with the beam in the ceiling/walls that becomes the "portal" to the extension (enlarged living room).
Initially, I thought of just plastering and painting it white, but I'm considering if we could maybe glue marble tiles to the "inner curve" of the portal, if you understand what I mean. And then plaster around it. Or any other suggestions? And what is easiest, plywood and glue, or directly on the plaster?
All thoughts are welcome, I have an open mind here
