Tips for self-leveling compound to achieve the right level on everything
Good evening
I am going to help a friend with self-leveling compound in his hallway. We have done the rough concreting now, so it’s not 100% level at the moment. We have bought level pins, etc., and will be putting in reinforcement and electric heating cables as well.
But we would need some tips and ideas on how to get it as level as possible, since tiles will be installed later. How should we measure it out in a good way, as it varies a bit from one end to the other?
Best regards

As an amateur, it's quite nice to do it in two rounds, first with fiber-reinforced then fine leveling for the last 4-5mm. You can take it easy the first time and just pour out the filler. The second time, use a broad-toothed trowel, for example, so the flow self-levels perfectly. We did this in the kitchen with perfect results.
We marked the first level with a pencil on the level marker and cut it off at the final height. It worked well since the first round is not as critical. (Since the floor you are leveling is not horizontal, you must measure each level peg with the laser)

Yep, we used EPS concrete to fill as much as possible, set level pins.. and went for it
it turned out well.. for being the second time I did it anyway. We got 2 small dips, so we're going to fix them before we start with the tiles.
Once we saw there was a dip, we couldn't get there, as it had already started to set and was a bit away, impossible to get material there..
So I'm satisfied
