Hello! I have low ceilings and am going to redo the ceiling in a house from 1937. The ultimate solution would be to remove the boards in the ceiling and find rigid thin ceiling panels that can be attached directly to the ceiling beams (floor 1 of 2). I think 7mm gypsum will be too saggy, but I would prefer not to go over 10mm with the panel material. Any tips?

Best regards, Jesper

Huntonik or equivalent is probably good. How far apart are the roof trusses? All kinds of boards have a maximum distance for the fastenings. 1200 X 600 notched is normal.
