I'm renovating my kitchen and planning to tile the chimney breast. It will stand as a square pillar between the kitchen and living room. The question is, how should one make the corners look nice? Use grout? Cut the tiles at a 45-degree angle? Some type of trim?
For some types of tiles, for example, I have seen it with regular smooth white, there are edge tiles that have an edge which is rounded and glazed. (Perhaps also with two such edges for corners..? I haven't thought about it)
